Topics of the Week

 

Reminder to All

·         You must update your Eclipse Development Environments on July 15 to Eclipse 3.7.

·         You must check In on July 14. Code Freeze.

·         You must re-checkout all projects (repository is being restructured).

 

Release Planning for STEM 1.2.1. Target date 7/31/2011

Release will include

·         Bug Fixes

·         New Earth Science Data 2001-2010

·         Interventions specific to location (Enhanced Triggers, Modifiers, Predicates)

·         New Logging API and Implementations

·         Population demographics with Aging! 

Release may include

·         NLS for some languages. Jamie will check w/ IBMer Lo on use of Babel for this; has already reached out to a number of individuals for help/advice; will report next week

Release will not include 

·         Data Plugin creation Utility. Have 10 years New Earth Science data, as above.

·         Shape File Import Utility. Deferred   

 

Documentation for Next Release

Will include

·         Simplified dev environment Instructions Target Platform instructions: Matt

·         Update user doc on loggers to reflect changes: Matt & Jamie

·         Dependencies: Chris & Jamie 

·         Population Demographics with Aging: Chris

·         Enhanced interventions: Stefan

May include

·         NLS for some languages: Jamie to discuss next week

Will not include

·         Shape File Import: Matthias. Deferred.

 

Items from Participants

 

Werner: Democamp successful. Few attendees from healthcare. One local committer is working on a a new product based on Eclipse, an installer like Marketplace. Werner will put links on newsgroup; Jamie will not contact until after release.
