STEM Community Call June 16, 2011 On the call: Stefan, Kun Hu (Maggie), Matt, Matthias, Chris, Judy Topics of the Week Update on documentation for equations used by disease models · Stefan: Originally requested by Matthias; in current build; when someone writes new code there’s a plugin file w/ Dublin core, can add information · Matthias: Great step forward, good start; will look over in most recent build Official “bug” for the .shp file reader? · Matthias: May already have a bug for this; if not, can create. Has contracted with Markus for this; deadline is June 24 · Matthias: Jan-Frederick will verify code once received, submit · Clarification as to what is required for IPLog o Stefan/Matt: If over 250 lines of code, contributor’s agreement required. Matthias: Probably will be 1000s of lines o Matt: Will forward Matthias required form (verifies all original code, etc.) for him to forward to Markus Chicken pox model with aging population groups · Continuing work, experimenting with pox model · Stefan: Need documentation for aging model; Chris to let Judy know when she can help with documentation (wiki tutorial) Items from participants · Kun: Reviewing literature on dengue and AIDS, tracking crisis in Germany; will meet w/ Jamie when he’s back from vacation · Judy: Looked over abstract for Stefan · Matt: Continuing to work on logging · Matthias: Has not been able to look at national language support (German, Chinese); Jan-Fredrick busy on tracking e coli; Matthias on another project; will address when crisis is over |
