Task and Documentation Tracking

On call: Jamie, Matt, Justin, Bryan, Dan, Stefan, Judy

 

STEM Committers Call  

·         For committers only next week

·         Agenda: Nominate new committers; Promote a new project lead

·         All: Let Jamie know of any additional items

·         Dan: Advise on process

Release Date for Milestone 1.2.0

·         04/13/2011

·         To Do: Stefan will ask Yossi to do a new build for RC 1.2.0

Release Deliverables for Milestone 1.2.0

·         New validated mosquito model utilizing the earth science data

·         Basic MacDonald-Ross Malaria disease model (as extended by Aron and May)

·         To Do: Jamie and Stefan will include a reference to the MacDonald-Ross model in the Dublin Core

·         Demo Malaria Scenario with MacDonald-Ross model build on Mosquito model

·         An early prototype for Graph editing

·         Method for running simulations headless from the command line with documentation

·         Wizard to create automated experiments with documentation

·         General bug fixes and improvements since release 1.1.1

·         Improved Documentation since release 1.1.1

·         Added as of this call: Time stamp (see Student Projects below)

Parallel STEM, Performance Results and Plan

·         Work on how to break up a large graph to run on more than one machine underway

Student Projects – Bryan and Justin

·         Have posted new bug for time stamp

·         To Do: Jamie will post on website as a deliverable under 1.2.0

·         To Do: Stefan will apply patch

·         Will be working on STEM until early May

Documentation for Features in New Release

·         Graphical editor – Matthias on this

·         Headless runs – Matt has up; will send Judy a link for review

Inclusion of Call-In Number on Agenda

·         Approved for both stem-dev (users are registered) and individually addressed agendas

Items from Participants

Judy:  AMIA proposal still pending; working on PLoS submission on malaria

Stefan: Working on malaria model

Jamie: Went to CDC last week; they now have a group of modelers; may join STEM call in future
