STEM Release 1.1.1

·         On track with features

·         Moved release date to January 12, 2011

Bugs

·         331894. Multipopulation: Double entry in combobox: Jan-Frederick submitted; Stefan will fix

·         351250. Hazards of editing models within models; change to item the model changes everywhere it appears

·         How to handle? Close the bug and improve documentation to make implications clear? Does this pose a risk?

·         Matthias: Will discuss with his colleagues; will share their input to help in making decision

Discussion: Clone v Copy

·         Matthias: Possible to create a copy, not just a pointer when dragging in?

·         Jamie: Default or alternative action?

·         Stefan: Copying can potentially hurt performance

·         Disposition: Put up for newsgroup discussion; redirect bug

Changes to Dublin Core Title

·         Stefan: title originally came from Dublin Core; have had problems with renaming models—don’t show Dublin Core, show file name; changed to show file name _ title in Dublin Core; auto-generated, can leave file name empty or make more precise; can edit Dublin Core

Introducing Chris Tseng

·         Chris: Will use STEM in class, tutorials, exercises, may extend

·         Jamie: Consider how to contribute; note Eclipse procedures
