Thoughts on a possible STEM Community Conference

·         Werner: Perhaps in spring, half day or full day of demos

·         Matt:  Attended Eclipse Healthcare Day several years ago; all OHF dead except for STEM

·         No decision reached

Items from Participants

·         Judy: Working on Mosquito paper, will check weekly on status of MS at Epidemics

·         Tero: Reported on Newsgroup on his work using CDO with a headless version of STEM; has run with several Scandinavian countries, not a continent; Matt: Will review, look at code, discuss with Tero; thanks to Tero for his work and  EMF contributions

·         Dan: Updated URL target platform to Eclipse 3.6; encountered issues with provisioning STEM workspace with Buckminster, got hung up on a serious bug (Matt: familiar with SDM kit bug, 17 minute hang); not sure how to trigger execution of ant build; best practice calls for .product file to be moved, also for an installer in a feature-based version; will check into this

·         Stefan: Working on new plug-in for vector-borne disease, adding spatial component to version check in earlier; will run by team

·         Werner: Met with woman working on Spanish translation, will also work on German
