Update from Tero on performance impact using CDO

·         Tero unable to make call; sent out update on stem-dev

·         Will defer for next week when/if Tero can make call

·         See below for Matt’s query to Dan, etc.

 

Update from Arik on mosquito model

·         Tero: Sent out spreadsheet on mosquitoes in Africa; probably would use malaria risk models;  problem isn’t details of the model but the parameterization

·         Judy: Have done some lit searches on Earth Science Factors, mailed paper copies to Jamie; will email bib to Arik, Stefan, Matt and Jamie

·         Stefan: Have an ad hoc model; Justin Lessler, Hopkins epidemiologist, suggested Roth model

 

Items from participants

·         Traci: Is there a way to account for changes due to an intervention in one area (e.g., school closings), not others?

• Stefan: Can do globally only
• Traci: Will put on website list of requested features

·         Matt: Has Dan looked at Tero’s info on CDO? Would like Dan’s opinion

• Dan: Just saw, profiles looked similar, results might be different if running two machines in a distributed environment
• Matt: Would ask Tero to put a timer in the source code; do more testing
