[soc-dev] GSoC 2018 - Introduction

To whom it may concern,

        My name is David Sult. I am currently a sophomore majoring in mathematics pursuing a bachelor's of science degree. I am top-ranked in my classes and always have been in college. I currently teach mathematics and computer science for my school while taking class full time. I have looked into the ideas list. The subproject Topic 2 looks like it would be a really great idea for me to be involved with. I also like the ideas from both the topics of the LocationTech GeoWave project. What are the best next steps to know if I am qualified for any of these and if not what projects I would be qualified for instead? I am extremely passionate about Eclipse in general given that the IDE is what I learned to code with. Not to mention everyone I know loves it and uses it.
