Re: [soc-dev] Student proposal ranking

Can you view/comment on student proposals? That is the expected behaviour at this point.

I believe that the "actual role" will be filled in when we actually assign you to a specific student project.

Hi Jelena,

I think I'm not yet accepted as mentor. I just request joining the Eclipse organization again, please accept me. :-)

Best regards, Lars

Hi there,

we org admins have to allocate slots with the Gsoc team, in order to do that we need to have the majority of the proposal ranked, as that gives us an idea how many slots we should realistically request.

Slot allocation deadline is the 7th of April, although we have until the 17th of April to finish up the ranking.

So, if you haven’t done so already, please, rank your most favorite proposal and thus make sure it will make the cut.

Just as a reminder: please don’t talk about acceptance or lack thereof on this list as we have students on this list and they aren’t supposed to know the results beforehand.

Thanks and if you any question please feel free to ask.

Kind Regards,
Jelena Alter
