Re: [soc-dev] Welcome to the "soc-dev" mailing list

Hi Benjamin,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I managed to clone this repository[1] and built the mqtt-client-0.4.0.jar and I managed to clone the repository[2] according to the details you provided[3].
The idea was to fix the error by my self, but due to the time constrains and we have to make a project proposal,
I thought it is better to get a help from you.
I attached the screen shots[4] of the errors and hope that will help you to get an idea.

Thank you,
Buddhika.

Hi,

It contains an org.eclipse.paho.ui plugin + RCP application that is likely more up-to-date than the old MQTT plug-in.

I am cross-posting to paho-dev as the Paho team might be interested in your feedback.

Benjamin.

Hi,

Good to see that you’re making good progress with MQTT so far! :)

I couldn't install the eclipse plugin although I tried. If you can give me some idea about installing the plugin and what should be my next step, I really appreciate it.

I think this is the information you are looking for is at: http://mobilave.info/blog/2012/Quick_start_guide_for_the_Eclipse_Paho_Plug-in.html
This will help you build the plug-in from its source code and then allow you to install it in your Eclipse IDE in order to start using it

Hope this helps,
Benjamin
