Re: [soc-dev] Eclipse winter of code (EWoC) program

I like the idea; we had this sort of thing in mind when we started participating in GSoC (it's no mistake that the mailing list is "soc-dev" rather than "gsoc-dev"). Unfortunately, we're really short on bandwidth right now.

If we want to pursue this, then somebody else is going to have to take the reigns and assemble a plan that we can take to the committer reps in a proposal to use some of the "Friends of Eclipse" money.

Hi Mayur,

I haven't heard anything official, but it seems the foundation does not
have sufficient staffing to manager an Eclipse Winter of Code program.
