Re: [soc-dev] "Pencils Down" and Final Evaluation Dates Approaching

Hi,

I have been working on The Graphical Inquirer of GPU Programs (GIG) which was formally the Graphical Explorer of  CUDA Programs. Since getting the basic functionality of it at the midterm, I have added quite a few things. I have added communication with a server that allows for a much more flexible system, but also allows local running if preferred. I also realized that a second, examples plug-in is not required, as my server functionality easily extended to allow the user to download examples in addition to uploading code. I have a few minor features left to add, and a few bugs to fix. I should be ready for the suggested pencils down date, and the subsequent testing/documenting shouldn't be too bad at all.

Cheers,
Brandon Gibson

Hi,

I have been working on the project titled "Diagram Layout in eTrice with KIELER". Much work has been done from outside the proposal as well. Currently, I am in the process of integrating 'KLighD (KIELER Lightweight Diagrams)' framework with eTrice (the last phase of the project). The produced code has already been heavily commented and the user documentation is still to be written.

I am willing to continue contributing to the project after GSoC officially ends. I intend to add a few new features and provide fixes for any bugs which may arise later on.

Thanking You.

Regards,
Jayant

I think it's time for a quick check-in/status report.

Students, please provide the group with a short (i.e. one paragraph) status of your project.

The deadline for completion is fast approaching (evaluations must be completed by August 24); it's time to start wrapping up the current phase of your project.

Students, please keep in mind that this is an open source community and that your continued contributions to Eclipse projects after GSoC 2012 completes are most welcome.

Thanks,

Wayne
