Hi Wayne and others,

Sorry for the late response, I didn't have internet access for the last few days. 

I am working with JGit and EGit to improve the CLI. The project page can be found here[1]. 
I have been in good communication with my mentors. It took a little bit longer than expected to set up the code base and repositories and learn how to use Gerrit, but my mentors were very helpful and that hurdle is overcome now.
