Monitoring a directory for changes and crawling them is not (yet?) implemented. Both file crawlers
crawl the directory one and are done. You could trigger the crawling regularly, e.g. using some cron job.

The new file crawler will be the one described in http://wiki.eclipse.org/SMILA/Documentation#Importing.
However, this implementation is currently only very basic and not optimized. We will improve it soon, I hope,
but I cannot give you any timeline for this, sorry. So you can move on using the "deprecated" crawlers, for now.

Regards,
Jürgen.
