| RE: [smila-dev] Dynamic index naming. |

Hi Igor, that's right. Some issues
that I am having are related to the fact that index names (even crawling seeds)
are specified in XML-configuration file,
which are not accessible at runtime. Kind Regards, Bogdan. From:

problem right, you’re trying to create dynamically indexes for each user
and then let user choose in which index he/she wants to search in, right? Cheers Igor Von:

Hi, I am building an
application that based on a user URL-list it crawls and index its content.
Since the user can use several lists and it
can decide to switch between them from search to search, I would need several
indices corresponding to those
lists that can be switched among them. I am
only having a problem with the Mappings file that specifies for every index the
mappings between the Record's attributes and the Lucene
fields. The indices' names are hard coded and should be configured in advance,
but I would have names for them only at
runtime, depending on the URL-list of the user.
Is there any way of dynamically specifying the Mappings file!? Kind Regards, Bogdan. ####################################################################### Bogdan Eugen Sacaleanu, Researcher
