I'm only a beginner here, but the Crawler is usually run by the
Connectivity component, and the Record it creates enter a Pipeline
(don't know if you should use the WebCrawler or coding a new one.) The
Lucene service instead is the last invocation in the Pipeline in the
examples in SMILA's repository.
