I just checked in the enhancement https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=279243 to use session Ids in DeltaIndexingManager. Agents should work again and remote communication should also be possible, now. There are some interface changes, I will update the documentation soon.
Please test this feature and report any problems immediately.
