Re: [sequoyah-dev] Committed to branch

Hi guys,

Talking to David, we changed the URL for the xml file:
http://download.eclipse.org/sequoyah/pulsar/discovery.xml

It can be accessed via /home/data/httpd/download.eclipse.org/sequoyah/pulsar, on build.eclipse.org.

Any questions/suggestions, please let us know.

I have committed some code to the branch:
  • Metadata tool now correctly tags items as feature groups (so that the DiscoveryUi install method will recognize them).
  • There is a bare-bones sample of discovery ui metadata in the core.tests plugin
  • The pulsar view now has the discovery viewer rather than the tree viewer but this only uses a bundle discovery strategy.

Eric, I will need access to the directory xml file that will be hosted by Sequoyah (this will contain entries with URLs to the SDK vendors’ discovery metadata plugins). Once we have this, I can add the remote bundle discovery strategy to the viewer and begin to convert the Nokia SDKs and test them. I am thinking this would be the URL:
http://www.eclipse.org/sequoyah/pulsar/directory.xml

After that, we need to document the steps for SDK vendors.
