I have put up the release process for EASE on the wiki [1]. Possibly you might pick some of that steps for your release process, too.

So from what I understand there is no joint build or oomph setup or similar things to be done afterwards. Each project does a separate release, we just take care that this happens at the same time.

I'm always a little fuzzy about the process, but my understanding is that we do the IPLog, request a review, pass the review, then put the installers and probably bundles up on a server somewhere.  https://www.eclipse.org/projects/handbook seems to cover most things.  I'll be looking at the previous Triquetrum release and being sure that the new release has similar downloads etc.
