Inspired by your question and the commons-collection deserialization 
issue I decided to add some functionality by overriding 
ObjectInputStream.resolveClass...i.e. to allow servers that register a
IClassResolver service to handle the object deserialization 
ObjectStreamClass -> Class resolution during ObjectInputStream reading.
