Re: [rt-pmc] Tracking compliance for the Helios release

The last two rows will get filled in as Anne and I work through the IP Log and docuware submissions. It's taking longer than we hoped, please be patient.

According to the grid at http://eclipse.org/helios/planning/SimultaneousReleaseGrid.php?projectid=rt
rt.jetty is now (mostly) in compliance.

However, the last 2 items do not appear to update correctly (IPLog and Release Docuware) The links found on Helios summary for rt.jetty's page show that we are in compliance. http://eclipse.org/helios/planning/SimultaneousReleaseOverview.php?action=project&projectid=rt.jetty <http://eclipse.org/helios/planning/SimultaneousReleaseOverview.php?action=project&projectid=rt.jetty>

What's left?

Has the IP changed since you submitted your log on May 5 for your
7.1 release? If not, you can use that log for Helios. But you have
to let me know that this is what you're doing.

I notice that there are no contributions indicated on the IP Log.
A quick look reveals at least one bug [1] contains a patch that
was (apparently) committed into the code repository. This patch
[2], and others like it should be marked iplog+ so that the
automatic IP Log generator can find it.

I have a script that may be helpful to identify those bugs/patches
    that contain IP [3].

More information about IP Logs can be found on the wiki [4]. Note
that it is *always* better to mark a patch as iplog+ rather than
the bug (more specifically... avoid marking bugs as iplog+, as
    managing it is a PITA).

FWIW, you still have time to get this in, but the IP team is
working through the current submissions. Sooner is much better
    than later.

Thanks for getting this together in Jesse's absence.

+1 to the slides with one modification, the planned review
date is June 23, 2010. The first slide states 12/05/2010.

Do you know if the iplog has been officially submitted to the
        emo? According to
        _http://eclipse.org/helios/planning/SimultaneousReleaseGrid.php?projectid=rt_
the IP Log has not been sent yet. A committer from jetty needs
        to go to
        _http://www.eclipse.org/projects/ip_log_submit_to_legal.php?projectid=rt.jetty_
and review the content and then hit the submit button at the
        bottom of that page.

We are at the end of the development cycle for the
        Helios
release. The planning council is tracking our progress
more closely now. Please update your tracking data soon
                   (see
_http://eclipse.org/helios/planning/SimultaneousReleaseGrid.php?projectid=rt_
                   for the RT status)

EclipseLink and Jetty have the most yellow at this
        point.
It should be simple to fill out the necessary
        information
in the eclipse portal to get a green status. Let me
        know
if you have any questions. Thanks.
