RE: [rt-pmc] new Potomac proposal

We did a quick trademark search before using the name Potomac framework.  Hopefully, the Eclipse search will find the same thing we did (no registered trademarks).  Neither did we find references to this other Potomac using regular google searches.  The name could be changed if necessary (but hopefully it won’t come to that).

Regards,

-Chris

Tom,

FYI - The Eclipse Foundation does trademark searches as part of its normal project initiation process.

I am not sure this is the proper place to bring this up. Or even a real concern. There is an existing potomac framework (https://fef.potomacfusion.com/main/home) out there that is not related to flex. But it does seem to offer a common framework runtime similar in concept to OSGi and EclispeRT.
