Hi Michael,

Some points:

Checkpoints sounds like integration I-Builds to me, it's a common eclipse therm. Maybe you can use it instead of checkpoint.

About Git Flow Process and hudson, there is a good possibility to make it work using hudson git plugin (already installed on eclipse hudson). I like this idea very much, but still didn't setup it for Xtext. Looking forward to see how good it works for RTF :)
