[riena-dev] AW: closable vs. closeable

I think if you google "isCloseable" and "isClosable" you can find both usecases in java and other languages.....

So lets fight this out :-) with Doodle

Betreff: [riena-dev] AW: closable vs. closeable

Just to extend the research list:
- Merriam Webster also mentions "closeable" with an "e" => http://east.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/closeable
- I seached on http://www.krugle.org for closeable - 2804 matching files, closable - 2468 matching files

Anyway, fact is (probably):
- closable - is the correct english word - but
- closeable - is the idiomatic term in programming languages (mostly Java I guess)

So, my favorite spelling is, uhm, .. eh, or is it my favourite spelling - you see with or without "u"?

Comme on, I think everbody immediatly understands both!
