I worked with Carsten in the last couple of years where he implemented many
components in the UI for the closed source framework at compeople that is
the predeccessor of the Riena project. Now that this code becomes open
source, I'd like to have him on board for this open source effort. He has
great knowledge especially in the UI area for all the different aspect s of
implementing Smart Client applications.


The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded.  The voting will continue
until either all 8 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Carsten Drossel must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a
successful election.
