Re: [recommenders-dev] [snipmatch] should we announce a prototype drop?

Hey Doug, great to hear that.

Just one more thought on "when is it ready for release?":

I'm a devotee of the "minimal valuable product" rather than working on a fully fletched product before showing it to the public. A little manual setup wont hurt much as we could announce it as alpha. But I think snipmatch should provide a waste of templates for almost all standard things (read, all templates already built-in Eclipse should be part of snipmatch too + as many new ones as possible) to make it valuable. In fact it should allow you to replace Eclipse's current templates completions.

To me, this would be the MVP and then snipmatch would be ready for a first drop. But that's just my unreflected thought ;)

Cheers,
Marcel
