[rap-dev] RAP build related changes: Hudson/HIPP

Hi RAP developers,

RAP has now its own Hudson instance [1] (called HIPP - Hudson Instance Per Project [2]), and I successfully migrated the first two build jobs to the new instance:

* RAP Runtime and RAP Tools for RAP 2.2 (master/HEAD) are now being built on the new Hudson instance at https://hudson.eclipse.org/rap/

* The old RAP 2.2 (master/HEAD) jobs on the old server have been disabled for now. I will delete the jobs at some point in the future, but not before having finished the builds for the next milestone. At the same time I will update the wiki pages.

* The RAP HIPP will be used for both, the RAP project builds and the RAP Incubator builds. All committers have full access to this Hudson instance.

* Despite improved stability, no problems with stale NFS handles any more, and faster builds, this dedicated instance has access to our private download area. This will help making our build more flexible in the future, and will reduce the complexity of our nightly build publishing scripts.

The request and the setup of the Hudson instance has been tracked in bug 418650 [3].

Thanks and regards,
Markus
