[ptp-user] Eclipse CPU usage

Hi,

this is potentially the wrong forum, but I am asking this question anyway. Perhaps someone knows a solution or a link to it.

Whenever I start Eclipse, one of my four CPUs is at 100% all the time. This is true even if I start Eclipse and point it to a non-existing directory for the workspace, so an empty workspace gets created. The usage at 100% stays even if I just stare at empty views not touching either mouse or keyboard.

A CPU monitor flags the application "java" as the CPU hog....as if one of the java processes executes a busy wait loop, waiting for something that never appears.

As soon as I exit Eclipse, my CPU load is back to normal.

Anyone seen that before ?
