[ptp-user] PTP 8.0.0 and 8.0.1 and not Internet connected Users

   Hello PTP users,

I am trying to update Eclipse/PTP from a 7.0.x versions to a 8.0.x version in our computer centre.

I am experimenting the following problem, whenever I want to run  a parallel application, whatever the "target system configuration" is chosen, I got the following error after selecting a connection type (using local is enough to get the error)

"
org.eclipse.ptp.launch
Error Thu Jul 31 13:09:04 CEST 2014
src-resolve: Cannot resolve the name 'lml:layout_root' to a(n) 'type definition' component."

it may be related that my computer centre is not connected to the internet and that the layout.xsd definition of lml:layout_root is not provided in the Eclipse plugins.

I just checked on a laptop using ptp-linux-gtk-x86_64-8.0.1.tar.gz that it also occurs whenever the laptop is not connected to the internet...

Is there is a simple cure to this problem? (Connecting the computing centre to the Internet is not an option!)

Regards,

Jean-Christophe Weill
