Re: [ptp-user] I broke my PTP install.

Things changed a lot between March and now.  Juno is still pre-release. I wouldn't go back to an earlier Juno.
This is the type of risk you take running on pre-release builds. :)
If you want to stay on Juno, I would recommend re-downloading the parallel package from eclipse.org/downloads - then click on "Developer Builds" at the top.
As it comes up, specify your existing workspace.  However I'm not certain about workspaces (esp. sync projects) converting from earlier 6.0 to latter 6.0 versions.
If you stay on Juno, we welcome bug reports as we march towards the June 27 release.

If you want something more stable you can download the Indigo and PTP 5.0 versions directly from the eclipse.org/downloads page "IDE for Parallel Application Developers"

[ptp-user] I broke my PTP install.

I was using Eclipse Juno from March (ish) and a PTP from around then. I had some trouble testing the debug with slurm today after some time away and checked for PTP updates from the site on the wiki (builds/juno/nightly)
I made the mistake of also telling Eclipse to update itself and "selected all". Now I can't do anything any more and after uninstalling PTP and trying to reinstall from the ptp 6 nightly http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/builds/juno/nightly site, I have dependency issues.

Can anyone off me advice of where/how I can install a basic  ptp with the juno I have, or go back to an earlier juno. I tried to install from the zip file ptp-master-6.0.0-201202152144.zip but didn’t manage it.

Thanks

JB
