Hi Christoph,

I've seen builds hang on local projects, which makes me think there is some kind of deadlock/timing issue in the CDT builder. As your ps shows, the ssh command that ran the build has completed successfully, so the problem is somewhere else inside Eclipse. Debugging is tricky. You could either try running Eclipse under it's own debugger (a lot of setting up to get it going), then suspend all the threads at this point to see what is going on, or use something like Java VisualVM to get a thread dump.
