Well my mystery of where my initial announce missives were, that I sent last Saturday morning, has been solved.
They were running around the internet for 5 days before being delivered! ???
Actually there was a typo in "ptp-announce@xxxxxxxxxx" (missing I) and I also (just) received a delivery failure on that one, but it seems like the rest should have gone on without it.
Oh well.

So if there is any confusion, PTP 4.0.7 and Photran 6.0.7 were available last Saturday May 14.

The PTP 4.0.7 bug fix release is now available. This is based on Eclipse 3.6 (Helios)

If you have the PTP update site enabled, you should just be able to use "Check for Updates" from the "Help" menu.
That will install/update from the PTP
The PTP downloads page at http://eclipse.org/ptp/downloads.php also has links to optional server components.

So, the http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/updates/helios/ update site now points to 4.0.7
