No, that should be sufficient.

I just tried installing Eclipse 3.5, CDT 6.0.0, PTP 3.0.0, and mpich2  
1.1 on a linux machine. I was able to create and start an MPICH2  
resource manager without a problem. The only setting I changed was to  
unselect the "Use default location" and enter /usr/local/mpich2/bin  
into the path. Did you change any other settings?
