Aha! You've installed the old PLDT and the new Eclipse.
PLDT 1.1 works with Eclipse 3.2.x and CDT 3.1.x (e.g. I suggest Eclipse
3.2.2 and CDT 3.1.2)
PLDT 2.0 works with Eclipse 3.3 and CDT 4.0.
It is available "early access" on the builds site -
http://www.eclipse.org/ptp/builds.php
Note that there is not a release for the rest of PTP on Eclipse 3.3/CDT4.0
yet
But with what you have, it looks like you could get PLDT 2.0 and it should
work.
