Re: [ptp-dev] PTP Video Demos

This mp4 should be readable everywhere. The video is the same but the narration has been improved.  http://nic.uoregon.edu/~wspear/PTPDemo1.mp4

I had a similar experience as Brian, keenly interested in seeing the video as well as whatever we need to do to ensure it is broadly available (eg, youtube)…

Ogg Vorbis. It's an open format but not widely supported now that I think about it. I'll find an encoder with broader compatibility for my next test.

Wyatt, FYI, Safari on my iPad failed to download this. What video encoding did you use? Bri

Greetings,

Based on some discussions at the Developer Meeting I've been looking into creating a series of short, straightforward video demos of the PTP, generally covering our usual demo topics from SC and similar presentations. I'm still trying to track down suitable video editing software for Linux but ultimately I don't think this will be too difficult to pull together. This test video is unscripted and unedited, but it gives an idea of what I'm working toward.
