[ptp-dev] Status and outlook for M7

FYI.. Our M7 build from yesterday is in place but i have some changes to get in probably early afternoon today and others may as well...
but be careful out there :)  Our M5 and M6  EPP packages didn't work, I *really* want this to work.

See below -- John E can you keep an eye on eGit to assure we don't have another problem like the last time they made a late change?
Thanks!

...Beth

Just a reminder that today (Wednesday) is the last day to make contributions towards the M7 Sim. Rel. repository.

As usual, we will set the deadline for 5 PM Eastern ... but, glad to be flexible for a few additional hours, if projects speaks up here to this list and requests additional hour or two (and preferably why)

Don't forget to check the repo reports from time to time ... lots of good stuff in there to fix for RC1.

Here are two things keeping me awake tonight (among others, not related to Sim. Release):

    1) I believe EGit is planning to move to "3.0.0" (still) in M7 and I have seen no "warm up" contributions yet, so I am anxious to see what, if anything breaks from that. (Short runway!)

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=407265 is blocking that, I am unable to build
the new optional jgit java7 bundles on main hudson until this is solved. The jgit build
job is configured to compile using jdk 1.7 but due to some unknown reason Hudson/Maven
decide to still use 1.6.

I am running out of ideas how I could fix that from my end.
