[ptp-dev] Fwd: [Bug 393945] New: GEM hangs if no valid file

Hi,

I'm not able to reproduce this bug with 6.0.3 on Linux or Windows, but don't have a MAC to test with. Can someone with a MAC verify this bug?

Thanks,
Alan

          Priority: P3
            Bug ID: 393945
          Assignee: ptp-inbox@xxxxxxxxxxx
Summary: GEM hangs if no valid file
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Tools
                OS: Mac OS X
          Reporter: tibbitts@xxxxxxxxxx
          Hardware: PC
            Status: NEW
           Version: 6.0.2
         Component: GEM
           Product: PTP

In an empty workspace I (just for the heck of it) hit the triton in the
toolbar, and selected 'formally verify' ... knowing full well of course that
there was nothing in the workspace.

It hangs with a dialog saying "No valid file is open in the editor" but won't
let me hit the "OK" button (Mac's spinning beach ball of death)

I had to kill eclipse and remove the workspace/.metadata/.lock file
