RE: [ptp-dev] is something wrong with I200908181129 ?

Yes I just got exactly the same thing with a fresh SDK too.
I installed it a couple of days ago just fine (after the aforementioned work with Greg).
Let me poke around more

RE: [ptp-dev] is something wrong with I200908181129 ?

Beth,

That is strange.  This was a fresh SDK that I was installing into - I actually grabbed the default build of CDT 6.0, updated to 6.0.1 CDT from the nightly builds for CDT, then attempted to add in (not update) PTP to 3.0, august 18 build.  That didn't work -- this was with a download from about 11am this morning.   I then trashed that download, tried again this afternoon, stlil bad.  I then trashed that download, grabbed the 8/05 build, and that installed cleanly.
I don't know why for any of that.

Jay

Jay,
I got that error with a build from earlier that morning, before Greg fixed up the site.xml file.
Did you try an earlier build that got that error first?
Eclipse caches something and won't let go sometimes for me.
I think I eventually untarred a whole new SDK to retry the update site with that, and it worked.
You might also try removing all the PTP update sites (see that "Available Software Sites" link in the dialog), and restarting eclipse, to see if that helps too.

[ptp-dev] is something wrong with I200908181129 ?

Hi,

I am trying to install the August 18 build -
I200908181129 of PTP, but, when I go to work through the wizard, rather than getting a choice of components to install, I get a message saying

I'll go back and try the previous build, but, I am curious if I'm alone with this problem…
