PTP 5.0.7 (and thus Photran 7.0.7) is released, which includes bug fixes since our 5.0.6/7.0.6 release.

[ptp-announce] Parallel Package update as part of Indigo SR2 is Available!

The "Eclipse IDE for Parallel Application Developers" SR2 update is now available as part of Eclipse Indigo's SR2 (Service Release 2) today.

This contains the 5.0.5 update to PTP and Photran 7.0.5, but also much more. The C/C++ Development Tools (CDT), the Linux Tools we include,
the Eclipse Platform, etc. are all updated as well to SR2 levels.

To get your copy, you can either:
(1) Update your existing copy with Help >Check for Updates, or
(2) Download a fresh copy from http://eclipse.org/downloads

Much thanks to the committers and contributors who have fixed hundreds of bugs to improve the Indigo Release. Today, with the Eclipse Indigo Service Release 1 (3.7.1) simultaneous release, we are proud to announce that PTP 5.0.2 and Photran 7.0.2 are now officially released.
The "Eclipse IDE for Parallel Appication Developers" is also updated and contains PTP 5.0.2 as well as the most recent updates to all the other components.

PTP 5.0.2 includes several bug fixes and minor changes.

Today, with the Eclipse Indigo (3.7) simultaneous release, we are proud to announce that PTP 5.0 and Photran 7.0 are now officially released.

PTP 5.0 contains several new features, including:
- A brand new, all-in-one download package, the Eclipse IDE for Parallel Application Developers, with Eclipse, CDT, PTP, Photran, and all the necessary pre-requisites for the core feature of PTP.
You can find it on http://eclipse.org/downloads/
- A new configurable resource manager framework (using JAXB and XML) and a new System Monitoring Perspective for viewing your parallel runtime - for resource managers using the new framework.
- A new model for remote projects: Synchronized Projects, which keep a copy of your remote project on your local machine, for standalone development even when the network is not available, and many CDT editor features that are not available for other remote projects
