Re: [polarsys-iwg] [rover-dev] PolarSys Rover source code

Hi Mia,

In addition what Gaël covered, below, I can add some information with regards to Papyrus-RT.

From a Papyrus-RT model point of view, I have not had a chance to do much. However, what I have managed to do thus far can be found in the Eclipse Papyrus-RT git repository at org.eclipse.papyrus-rt.git, in the “models/Samples/Zeligsoft-Rover” folder. In that folder, you will find a "Zeligsoft-Rover-Read_Me.md” file that describes the (rather short) history, as well as two models: a SysML model and a UML-RT model. Both are still based on the Mars release.

If you have any question about these, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your interest in the PolarSys Rover and in Papyrus-RT.

Sincerely,

Charles Rivet
Senior Product Manager, Papyrus-RT product lead

Hi Mia,

Thanks for reaching out and for asking.
Unfortunately, we are late to submit our code to the project. So thanks for the reminder, I delayed the release date and we will adjust it as soon as we have a better visibility on our agenda.

We are putting together our initial contribution on this git repo [1]. You can expect to see the content appear there by the end of next week as we have a deadline at EclipseCon Europe [2].

The conversation about the rover project is happening on the rover mailing list. You can subscribe on [3].

Hello,

My name is Mia Petkovic and together with a group of sixteen post-master students at Technical University of Eindhoven I am working on a project similar to Polarsys Rover. Our focus is also exploration of Polarsys tools, so I was wandering if we can get the source code (I know that the release is in three days from now), so we can examine a bit more detailed for which phases of development cycle you used which tool and how.

We are also curious how did you model maze discovery part and which tools did you use for that. Last, but not least, our focus currently is mainly on Polarsys RT and its possibilities. We are currently investigating the difference between Papyrus RT and Papyrus and which tool is more useful for the generation of the code. If there is a person willing to help us answer questions about the tools, or the whole modelling process, please let me know.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards,
Mia Petkovic
