Dear all, This is to inform you that the CONCERTO project http://www.concerto-project.org/ will hold a one-day technical workshop on 5 October 2015 at Airbus Group Innovations (building D42*) in Toulouse, France, open to representatives of all organizations interested in model-based development solutions for certification-aware software systems targeting multicore processors. CONCERTO is a three-year project partially funded by the ARTEMIS program, now into its third and final year of work, with a consequent shift of focus from internal development to industrial use cases and external dissemination. CONCERTO is a follow-on to CHESS http://www.chess-project.org/, its ARTEMIS predecessor, which ran from 2010 until 2013 and spun a set of its final artifacts into a Polarsys project https://www.polarsys.org/chess/ under the umbrella of the Eclipse foundation. The event on 5 October is part of the project's dissemination strategy and uses the opportunity of a project plenary meeting hosted by Airbus Group Innovations around that date, to reach out to you and colleagues of yours that would like to hear from on what model-based techniques can do to increase quality and control in the development of certification-aware software systems targeting multicore processors. The technical workshop on 5 October will address the two specific themes of: A) what CONCERTO offers in support of certification-aware systems, particularly in support of dependability but also beyond it B) what CONCERTO does beyond CHESS, in particular for multicore processor targets; with presentations, demonstrations and open discussions with the audience.
