Yes TOPCASED is being migrated to PolarSys, regarding UML it is in Papyrus: https://www.polarsys.org/sites/default/files/custom_uploads/Papyrus%20DatasheetA4%201.5.pdf
As for the PolarSys IDE, we do not put all the tools into one package anymore because we are starting to have many tools and not all of them are being used by all users, some tools are for testers, others for System Engineers, some for software developers, etc. The approach is to provide separate packages for each PolarSys Solutions https://www.polarsys.org/solutions.
Have your tried Papyrus 1.1: http://www.eclipse.org/papyrus/?
Do you still see a problem with the UML deployment diagram, if yes can you submit a bug in papyrus and a way to reproduce the problem?

Hello everyone,
I have been working with the TOPCASED UML editor. One of the reasons is that it supports some parts of UML better than Papyrus, like deployment diagrams.
I wonder what the actual plans concerning TOPCASED are. All information I could find so far says that it is to be "migrated" into PolarSys.
As far as I understand, plans of providing PolarSys as a standalone IDE have been dropped in favour of a SDK as an Eclipse update site?
Moreover, I am surprised because the UML editor part of PolarSys seems to be provided by the (original) Papyrus.
The only information the (former) TOPCASED website states now is "To be completed with informations about the migration of Topcased to PolarSys." which isn't really helpful.
Maybe someone can help me and state what the plans concerning the TOPCASED UML editor?
