The Eclipse Development Process requires that a election occur to
make somebody into a committer. |
An election starts with a nomination, which must include a short bit
of text describing the merit demonstrated by the candidate (normally
citing one or more bugs that the candidate has contributed to). All
existing committers are asked to vote in the election which runs for
a minimum of five business days (or until all existing committers
have voted). Successful elections must be approved by the PMC before
our legal team obtains and validates legal paperwork and the
committer is provisioned into the system.
Developers listed in a new project proposal are automatically
converted into committers when the project is created.
Will this need to be different for PolarSys?

My position is that a list of committers must be managed by

This is our position as well.
For instance, for checking the IWG
At the Eclipse, the EMO checks that someone can be a committer.
It's the same here with additional IWG conditions.

with eclipse infrastructure
Thank you for your email. The Polarsys infrastructure is not
up yet, so at this time adding committers and projects must be
by an administrator. Once Polarsys is running, account creation
management facilities will be available.
The SCM installed on Polarsys is Git. You can browse the test
When Polarsys is fully operational we'll post infrastructure
updates on this
I want to add some material to the polarsys infrastructure
and to test some features :
Shall I get a commiter ??
How to add the Geneauto project ?
Will I have to add it ?
The SCM : is it Git or SVN ? What is the link to the repository
? Do I
have the acces rights to do it ?
To make short, now that I know where to go, I would like to know
go in the frame of OPEES/Polarsys..
Thank you for your support
