RE: [platform-vcm-dev] Reserved edit
|
The only thing you need to do to get
this item added to the 3.0 plan is implement it, test it and then submit
the patch;-). If you decide to tackle this, the development team for Team/CVS
will be happy to answer any questions you have but we already have far
to many committed items to consider doing this ourselves for 3.0.

Michael,
As you said, I'd like to make the feature real. Please
let me know all if there is anything I can help 3.0 plan to add it.
Thanks,
Ias.

Ias,
Eclipse does support the basic "cvs edit" command but there is
no plan to enhance this support. However, if someone else from the community,
such as yourself, wanted to implement and own the feature, then it could
potentially be added to the plan.

Reserved edit |
WinCVS supports “reserved
edit” in trace. I
read 3.0 plan and found that there’s
no comment about that, so I’d
like to ask whether it is considered or not and let me know how I can help
to add the feature.
Thanks in advance,
Ias.
