The newsgroup is a better place for general questions like this. This
mailing list is for Team and CVS development issues.
I believe the answer to your question is that you use the CVS Repositories
View to define repository locations and check out projects. The CVS
commands are then available from the Team section of the popup menu in the
resource navigator. CVs decorators can be turned on from the Window >
Preferences dialog under Workbench/Label Decorators. And finally, no you
don't need to use JDT to use CVS.

hello,
i was setting up a cvs repository and missing some symbols like:
* file is checkin (read only)
* file is unkown
* file is changed
and so on!
even commands like update, commit, add selection i'm missing.
i'm sure they are there, but where:-))
i do not want to use JDT! or is it necessary?
