Re: [platform-vcm-dev] CVS repository path doubled

It's easier to tell you what's kept with the project. The "nature" of a
project is maintained (i.e. is it a Java project, etc) as is the Java
specific information (in the .classpath files). The other information can
be exported using other means. For instance, your workbench preferences can
be exported (Choose Windows>Preferences from the main menu and click
Export). Launch configurations can be written to and loaded from a shared
file (Choose Run... from the run menu, click on the "common" tab and choose
"shared").

Thanks,

I' have download the 2.1 build. I have been using three different IDE's
over the last month:
NetBeans, IDEA and Eclipse. I have been using Netbeans for a number of
years, even
before it was obtained by SUN. The major reason for looking into other IDEs

is the
lack of refactoring facilities that I desperately need. IDEA does a very
good job in
that area and Eclipse as well.

By the way, how much project information is lost after updating ?
At first glance I see that the Run types are gone, and some of my
Preferences are
gone as well.
