I checked the code,
Things have changed drastically since
2.0
the UpdateManagerAuthenticator does
not seem to persist the userid/password for a certain realm
So if we get 407 all the time from the
proxy, we will prompt the user all the time
I will update the bug

The multiple prompt occures both during when you fetch
the info from
the site and during downloading (for every file).

We use the Microsoft ISA Server 2004 sp2.

Is there a way to help? maybe enable tracing?
