Peter,

The attribute itself has not been deprecated,
but the image is not used in the current update mgr UI.
I think the Properties page for the
feature could display the image, but it is not done.

Howdy, 
        Are feature images in 3.0 deprecated? I can't
find where one would get displayed. It used to be in the update manager
perspective which no longer exists.
