Re: [platform-update-dev] Issues we would like addressed in 3.0

Operations API is a prerequisite for script installation. We don't know yet
which script languages are suitable for this task but all depends on the
ability to access Update without the UI.

Regarding staging support
The first step we should have is to allow administrator to download fixes
on the local machine and somehow 'override' the clients to look for updates
in the local machine instead of the web
Another thing we should do is the ability to install features silently and
using a script. That will allow the automatic update of 200 users for
instance.
Did I read it too fast and it was already there ?
