This mailing list is used for discussing development items relating to the update component of Eclipse. There has not been any posts in the last week. I am not sure I understand what you mean by "main developer's list" .... maybe you mean eclipse-dev or platform-dev ? See http://www.eclipse.org/mail/dev-lists.html for the purpose of each dev mailing list.

Is this mailing list working? I signed up and haven't gotten ANY messages from it. Is this not the main developer's list?
