Re: [platform-ui-dev] gray file path went missing from OpenResource.

Hello

Last working one:
Version: Photon (4.8)
Build id: I20171217-2000
(As a note, this version showed path for duplicate entries, not all entries).

My current build where I have the issue:
Version: Photon (4.8)
Build id: I20180213-2000

So something in between Dec17 and Feb13 caused the regression.

imho +1 to Lar's suggestion, it would be good to have full path for all entries, because that way you can quickly tell what project they're in at a glance.

-2 for that. Why would you care about the path if there is only one type with that name?

IMHO we should always show the path. IMHO it is a "feature bug" in open type that they only show them for duplicate entries. Drive me crazy every time I need the path.

I'm not aware of any intentional change to not show the path in open resource. Please open a bug for that.

As a note, Open Type shows the path if there are multiple entries for the same item.

imho Open Resource should do the same and show the path if there are duplicate entries.

Hello guys,

I noticed the gray text went missing from the open resource dialogue a while ago:

My old Eclipse had this text:

Considering in SWT every widget is present ~3 times in sources,
not having the file path in the dialogue makes it rather tedious to navigate   :-/.

Was this an intentional UI change?
If so, can we go back to former behavior or is there a way to re-enable it? (I haven't seen an option).

Well, either that or who knows, instead of fixing a Gtk bug I might accidentally fix a Cocoa bug instead because I opened the wrong java file :-/.  #FridaySarcasm.

Thank you.
